Flight travel time differs from different destinations to reach Tahiti, you may refer flight hours of these destinations, if you are traveling from any of these like to reach Tahiti from Los Angeles it takes 8 hrs, from Auckland it takes 20 hours from Auckland and from Tokyo it takes 12 hours of flight travel time.
How to Reach Le Taha’a Island Resort
To reach your destination resort, you need to reach Faa’a International Airport located in mainland of Tahiti from your homeland country.
Arrive @ Tahiti Airport
To reach here, various international airline travel services operates, you can choose to travel by any of the airlines like Air Tahiti Nui, Air France and French bee (low fare airline) if travelling from Paris, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Guests travelling from Auckland can also travel by Air Tahiti Nui or Air New Zealand flight services. For destination-Honolulu and Chile, Hawaiian Airlines and LAN air services can be booked.

From Tahiti Airport to Raiatea by Air Tahiti
After reaching Tahiti, domestic flight services are available by Air Tahiti airlines services for transfers to Raiatea Island. Air Tahiti domestic service is the fastest and most comfortable mode of transfer to reach Raiatea Island from where your destination resort can be reached and it is the only airlines offering services between Tahiti and Raiatea. The flight travel time to reach Raiatea Uturoa Airport in Raiatea Island from Tahiti is approximately 45 minutes.
Raiatea to Taha’a
Raiatea and Taha’a Island are located in same lagoon and thus boat transfers are available for transportation from domestic airport and the island Taha’a. So once you have reached Tahiti, a domestic flight to Raiatea Island and thereafter a boat transfer to reach your destination.
Taha’a to Resort Own Private Shuttle Boat
From Raiatea Uturoa Airport, guests will be transferred to the resort by its private shuttle boat. The private shuttle boat takes approximately 35 minutes of time to reach the resort. Boat transfers are available for commutation between Raiatea Uturoa Airport (RFP) and the resort at the following additional charge:
- Adult: 5843 XPF per person (one way)
- Child (under 12 years): free of charge.
Guests are suggested to intimate the reservation team at the resort well in advance about their respective arrivals at Raiatea Uturoa Airport (RFP) to enjoy smooth transfer services.
