How to Get to Furaveri Island Resort and Spa Maldives

Located in the exotic locales of Raa Atoll, Furaveri Island Resort and Spa Maldives feature stunning collection of 107 private villas. How to Get to Furaveri Island Resort and Spa Maldives? The resort is accessible by two modes of transfer; you can read about each of them in detail in the coming sections. The luxury resort is located at a distance of 155 km from Male International Airport. The guests can choose the preferable mode of transfer as per their personal choice and also on the basis of their arrival schedules at the Male International Airport.

To reach the resort, you can choose either of the transfer modes. The transfer arrangements are coordinated by the resort, so do send them your international flight schedules well in advance. Now let’s understand each mode in detail.

By Seaplane Transfer

After your arrival at Male, you will be welcomed by Furaveri Airport Associate who will guide you to Seaplane transfer terminal. Seaplane flight takes approximately 45 minutes of time to reach the resort from Male International Airport. Transfers are available for International flights landing by or before 03.00 pm at the Male International Airport.  The charges are mentioned here:

Adult (12 years and over): USD 400 per adult
Child (2 to 11.99 years): USD 240 per child
Infant (0 to 1.99 years): travel free

By Domestic Flight + Speedboat Ride

After arrival at Male, Furaveri Airport Associate will welcome you and further assist you for boarding a domestic flight followed by a Speedboat transfer. The travel time by both mode of transfer is 25 minute and 45 minute respectively. Domestic flight plus Speedboat transfer mode of transfer is available for International flight arrivals at Male’ International Airport after 03.00 and before 10.00 pm. Charges for the transfer are:

Adult (12 years and over): USD 400 per adult
Child (2 to 11.99 years): USD 240 per child
Infant (0 to 1.99 years): travel free

Baggage Allowance:
Complimentary baggage allowance is 20 kg(check-in luggage) + 5 kg (hand luggage) per person. Excess baggage will be charged at a cost of USD 5 per kg.
